We understand the importance of family and so we will be on hand every step of the way.

Book Your Initial Consultation

If you are looking for family law advice, you should book an initial consultation with Burys Solicitors. Your consultation would include a one hour meeting with a solicitor and tailored written advice.

Our consultations are offered at the nominal fixed fee of £100.

Your consultation can cover a variety of different topics, for example divorce and dealing with the ownership of the family home.

During this initial consultation, any concerns will be addressed and together we will map out the next step forwards.

Following your consultation, you can decide whether you want Burys Solicitors to assist you further.

Divorce/ Dissolution

Our empathetic team at Burys Solicitors understands and is sensitive to the needs of each client, and we are available to provide customised advice pertinent to your specific situation.

Finances

One of the most difficult aspects of going through the breakdown of a marriage or civil partnership is deciding how to share matrimonial finances.

Separation Agreements

A Separation Agreement might help settle the practicalities of separation if you haven’t decided on a divorce.

Child Law

The court has the authority to decide where children reside, the conditions of their contact with their parents or other guardians, and who can make key decisions.

Domestic Abuse

If you have been the victim of domestic abuse, it is critical that you understand your rights and the steps that the Family Courts will take to protect you.
